Two university assistants, Serge Bassem and Pierre Crokaert, launch ACT'L from scratch as a small electronic and industrial engineering company. In the early days, they carry out projects for quite different business areas, including the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industry.
1998
After five years activity, ACT'L has gained credit among the key players of the Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology industry. The company is granted with larger projects.
2006
Start of the international deployment: USA, China, Singapore, Hungary, Germany and France.
2008
ACT'L confirms the importance of its Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology activity by founding a new independent company named BiiON sa.
